about

My original inspiration was to write an experimental metal song in the style of Death Grips
Features:
-a glitched guitar loop
-guitar tapping
-reversed vocals
-distorted chance music electronic drums
-chopped vocals
-audio processing that cuts up audio into tiny pieces and rearranges them by volume
-ring modulated vocals
-Shepard scales based on a chord progression of falling fifths/rising fourths
-hand drawn audio (drawing individual samples while following a sine wave guide)

lyrics

Why?

When I move, I burn the world and when I breathe it's ash
Any hope I had for Earth has passed
When I eat, it's human meat from workers bled out dry
And when I sleep, the other billions die

I am violence
Why?

Existence is violence when self reliance leaves you in the cold
Each connection made, a human interface
For the privileged to eat another’s soul
And so humanity and society compose a global network of abuse
Everyone contributes to some level of oppression
But no one takes account for the harm that they produce
